These two side-by-side grave space plots are available in SECTION EIGHT of the Historical Section of Fairmount Cemetery. This historical section is filled with beautiful monuments and stunning trees dating back to 1890. This section is completely sold out, and being sold privately by a family. The two plots are being sold together, so a family of two can have a main headstone with companion stones, or two individual stones. The monuments this section can be standing and more unique than in other sections of Fairmount because of the individuality of the surrounding stones. The plots are also near a side road, so they are easily accessible, but private. Surrounded by poplar, pine, and maple trees that are over 130 years old, and the site is in the shade of several large trees.
Perpetual care included, owners pay the transfer fee. Available for immediate need.
This section behind the Ivy Chapel, and the chapel is in view from the property when the trees are not in full bloom. Built in 1890, the Ivy Chapel reflects 13th century Ecclesiastical Gothic architecture and is designated a landmark by the City of Denver. With its flying buttresses and gargoyles, the Chapel is reminiscent of Notre Dame and other grand cathedrals in France, only on a much smaller scale.
